MGW Seafood’s Ltd have been trading for over 2 decades, supplying fresh and frozen seafood and the finest Smoked Scottish Salmon to the UK and continental Europe.

 

Most Smoked Salmon producers will tell you they supply the best quality produce anywhere! We would rather tell you that the proof of the fish is in the eating! Our customers have ordered consistently from us some of whom have been with us from the very beginning.

 

MGW Seafood’s have at their disposal a vast knowledge of all aspects of the fish supply industry. We have

developed some ground braking processing techniques over the years that have allowed us to stand out from our competitors. These techniques include a unique process for Smoked Salmon that gives a moist flavorsome product which must be tasted to fully understand!

Some of our regular customers have built their business and reputation on our reliable high quality Smoked Salmon. We are nominated suppliers for some of the finest Restaurants and Hotels in the UK.

 

Our founder, Mark G Walker (43) has been in the industry since he was 16 years old. Under his fathers tuition Mark learned the seafood business from the ground up. He took over a small factory unit 23 years ago, and went on to take over the whole building, becoming one of Scotland’s premiere seafood suppliers.

 

We buy fresh from the local markets every day, however our haddock supplies come direct from two Scottish trawlers.

 

When we decided to expand our Smoked Salmon line we determaned from the start that we would only use sustainable stocks, from Scottish waters. Wilde Salmon is fast becoming an endangered species. We do not supply any wild Salmon to our restaurants, retail outlets or on-line store.
